What is wrong with todays society?
There are so many school shootings today, no one can stop them all, no matter how many people try to prevent it, it doesnt stop.
People are DYING because f their faith. People die b/c they end up getting in the way. Why do people do this? Why is innocent blood being shed? How is it every generation seems to lose its innocence, in one way or the other, at the wrong time?
Christians die because they believe in GOD. Why is this happening???? Why do the people have to die? All they had was their lives and their faith and one has to be viciously ripped away from them.
Where is the heart of the person holding the gun?
Where is their sanity?
Why are peoples lives ending so quickly? They arent able to tell the ones they love how they feel. They never gfet to say good-bye, to me that is the cruelest thing, not even a GOOD-BYE.
15-19 year olds are dying in school, some parents think that is the safest place to put their children, WRONG.
No matter what, we are all in danger for what we believe in, God is always there for us, but for some reason the people starting the shootings must think God is not listening. He is, He always listens and He always prevails.
Even if the person reading this thinks I'm stu[id for believing in God, I dont care what that person thinks, I just pity them for not knowing God's love for all of His children.
I'm just tired of the death, it is not needed and these are pointless deaths.
I pray for all those who've died and I cry for them.
I hope no one on here has to deal with burying someone they love because of mindless violence.

One might well say that the problem today stems from social urban insanity. We are packed together as fish in a can; our financial and social woes are rampant; we love our street drugs and those given by our physicians. Truly we are a nation beset with good people who have collectively lost their minds. We harbor seething and unfounded hatred; we act and react with no thought to the consequences of our actions. Hope lies not in this world, I am sad to say.

Yes, but hope lies with in ourselves.
We are given obstacles and we need to get over them.
It can stem from anyhting why these things are happening, not many people know that these things will only stop when WE stop everything we arent supposed to be doing.
We dont think about the consequences until its too late.
It is a scary truth a sad truth.

While they aren't 100% to blame, I think a lot of the blame falls on the parents.
Kids don't just come up with these things. They are exposed to it. They have access to guns and weapons and drugs.
It might start small, a child not being punished for smart mouthing or being rude. But that can escalate. Why would a child listen to any authority figure if their own parents won't make them listen?
Of course there are problem children that are 'exceptions' to certain rules. But I'm so sick of people blaming the media and the movies and music. It's crap. Sure, they can get some ideas from that stuff...but why aren't the parents being more observant about what their child is doing?
I never had a curfew growing up. Why not? Because I told my parents where I was going, when I'd be home, and I called them when I got there and before I left to come home. I was raised to be responsible.

Good posts, friends.... and certainly, as you state, change must begin with us... parents, concerned individuals, etc... I will not be around to see it, but maybe, just maybe things can be turned around...
Cheers
