I do like to alliterate, and do the assonence thing too, but more when writing than speaking (My last round of Christmas cards read "Cherry Mistmas and a whiff oc Christmas biscuits") but wouldn't quote scripture to anybody unless it was a mutual debate.
Religion is one of the worst...

Hi TSD. Personally, I think we're inundated with information. Used to be that we only got to hear from the smart people, or at least the ones who worked hard enough to travel around the country and make speeches, or (later) were talented enough to get on the radio, or (later still) were funny...
