Sue The Government?

SO much to talk about...

ACORN, well that speaks for itself. Now they suddenly want to be under scrutiny and have their organization looked at more closely. Right. I am sure Roland Burris believes them. That guy is an idiot to say the least.

But, my real reason for writing today is to pose a question. Food for thought if you will.

Let's say you lived in the city of Sunshine USA. You love your city, nice place to live, great schools, wonderful hospital, Sunshine City Mall and only 30 minutes from the ocean and 45 minutes from the mountains. Great place to live and raise children. You even have your dream job here! Oh and of course your dream house, where you park your dream car (alright, does this sound like Barbie and Ken might live next door? Sorry, you must get the point..you are happy here).

Suddenly you notice that there are some drug dealers on your street. You start to worry because you heard that a little kindergarten kid was offered crack cocaine while out riding her bike. You also notice a few hookers down on Main Street at night when you go to the store. What is happening in our perfect little city?

You have had enough, so you and your neighbors call the police and complain about this. When you all are talking about it you realize the cops don't even drive down your street any more. What is more annoying is that you read in the paper that they just got a nice big raise and the Chief of Police hired a bunch of new cops. Yet your street still has drug dealers and hookers are walking Main Street.

The cops tell you there is not much they can do, unless they actually SEE someone selling drugs. You argue that indeed that is what is happening and they should do something, maybe put an undercover cop out there. They chuckle and tell you that you watch too much television.

After a few weeks you see more and more of this going on. You complain and you even write to the newspapers. But interestingly there are some people in the city who say that drug dealers and hookers are actually good for the city because they help embrace a diverse culture which was so terribly lacking in Sunshine City. You are amazed that anyone could say such a stupid thing and even that they believe it.

Finally you go to the Mayor and City Council and tell them that the police won't do anything about it. The Mayor tells you that drug dealers are not as bad as you think and that the right wing media has made them out to be criminals when in fact they are productive members of society and you should be lucky that they came to our city to deal drugs otherwise your own children would have to go out and sell drugs to handle the demand. You insist that selling drugs is illegal and that they must enforce the laws, they all swore an oath to uphold and defend and enforce. They appease you with some broad language about diversity and how they'll look in to it.

Pretty soon your street is a mess. Your neighbor, an 84 year old widow in a wheel chair who can't see or hear, was brutally beaten and raped by two of the customers of the drug dealers, and they stole all her money and jewelry before they left. Enough is enough. You finally hire a lawyer and you sue the Mayor and City Council and the Chief of Police.

Does it stand to reason that you are entitled to INSIST on the law being enforced and your family and friends are kept safe from drug dealers and hookers? Don't you think you deserve to get that level of service?

Then why do we allow our government to NOT enforce immigration laws? Oh, come on, don't tell me that they do enforce them, because they don't! Why are we even talking about the possibility of "illegal aliens" being covered under the new Obama Care? IF there were NO illegal aliens it would be a non issue, but there are illegal aliens and I am not sure I can even guess what the numbers are, but it's significant.

Janet Napolitano is ignoring the problem, just like all the ones before her. Americans are accepting it as if there's nothing we can do. Why don't we hire a lawyer and sue them for not doing their job? Why don't we say we're not paying any more taxes until they start enforcing the immigration laws? Why should you have to work every single day so that you can support these lazy shiftless criminals? They lay around having more and more babies, costing us more money and many end up in prisons at a HUGE annual cost to us. Oh yes, there are a few that pick lettuce, God Bless them for coming to America and picking our lettuce, go home when you are done thank you very much see you next season and please take the kids with you.

I think we've had enough of this.
