 It's Not What You Think

It's not what you think, us Teens have a LOT of problems too. Of course we didn't have to deal with The Depression or World War ll. We've had to deal with the fight of suicide, anorexia, and the cruelty of kid's these days. We deal with a whole different lifestyle. We're pressured for drugs, a certain look, and sex. Our generation if fighting an ongoing battle of life and hardships that older generations have no idea how it works. We are judged by looks, personality, and what materialistic things we have. Some elder people think of us as lazy, selfish, and just plain mean. Well, I'm here to prove that wrong. Of course there are teens who just don't care, but I'm not one of them. In today's World, you have to be selfish. You have to care for yourself, and always look behind you to make sure no one's going to kick you down. You never know what people will do. We're dealing with Economic hardships such as Global Warming, and life as we know it is getting harder. What do you think? Our teens these days are trying to get jobs, cars, and make some kind of money. We can't walk up to strangers and make a conversation like you used to in the old days. Kid's get raped, kidnapped, and killed. Now tell me, did the older generations have to deal with this kind of lifestyle? Doubt it. They have no idea what kind of battle we are fighting.

While I'm in my 30's and remember all of those things. I also remember my grandmother telling me how she used to go out into the dooryard and grab a chicken and kill it for dinner. Life has difficulties from all generations.

That's true. Who says teenagers don't have serious problems to fight? Well, whoever doubts it should read your blog! :)
PS: Nutshell does hv a point that every generation has a new difficulty.
