| A few words by way of an introduction

This blog is about my journey to running the New York Marathon in November 2008.
It is dedicated to my good friends who have absolutely bowled me over in the last year with their truly awesome acts of physical endurane and determination in the face of utterly crazy challenges.
I hope I'll make you proud.
There is one hell of a long journey ahead to get marathon fit, but all journeys begin with those first few steps. Here we go....
