 Stress
Stress can be hard to deal with. Everyone reacts differently to stress. Here I'm going to talk about some ways to help sort out some of the problems of everyday life and explain ways to eliminate them.

Where does stress come from? It can come from a vast amount of places/people/things, from a relative dying, financial trouble, to a bad roomate. In my experience, I get stressed out where there are large amounts of people present. Something about the way they move in a group as if your trying to find your way through a maze. hehe. I try to deal with it though, or sometimes just have to when I go grocery shopping. I can work around that though. I can go grocery shopping later at night, or on a Tuesday afternoon.

The first part of relieving stress is to recognize where it comes from. Let me say that again, the first part of relieving stress is to recognize where it comes from. This is the most key factor in doing anything to help yourself. Recognize where your problems are coming from. When your having a bad day, week, or month, it can be hard to realize where the problem is stemming from sometimes.

So now you've pinpointed where your stress is coming from. What do you do now? (This part shouldn't be complicated.)

Ways to relieve stress:

Talk about it with friends and family - This can be very relieving, the people closest to you usually have a lot of great ideas on what you can do. They make for a great support team as well.

Find ways to laugh - Laughter releases physical and emotional tension. Your favorite comedy show or friends telling jokes can be fun.

Listen to music - Everyone should be able to enjoy some of their favorite music from time to time.

Exercise - Maybe one of the most dreaded options, yet one of the best. Exercise can be the best physical releases for stress there is. This includes sex. (Don't forget to stretch.)

Eating right - If your hopped up on caffeine and sugar, the crash can be dramatic. This can be an emotional roller coaster only causing negative response. Staying healthy by eating right is a way to stop stress in its tracks eliminating a big contributer (literally) from the start.

Take a day off - This can be important for overtime clocking employees. Life is not suppose to be lived like that, take a break and relax for a day. If your not able to, then treat yourself to a back massage, new haircut, or get a baby sitter for the evening and go out.

A bath - I think most people take showers now a days, I do myself, but baths can be very relaxing. Even throw on some of that favorite music too.

Tiger balm - This stuff works wonders on muscles. I think its great for relaxing. Tiger Balm

Breathing - Something you can do at your desk. Meditation would be the first to recommend, but most people don't have the time to do it or struggle with how to. As long as you take time to realize how your breathing, you'll start to feel better. Nice deep breaths gives you more oxygen to the body.

There are many other ways to relax, relieve stress, and to feel better about life. Life should not be as hectic as it is sometimes, but it can be. Focus on feeling better and you will start to. Find the things that stress you the most and try and resolve them as best you can. Obviously if things are serious, a counciler can help. The key though is really finding the things that stress you out, and take a break from it or resolve the issue.
