 Collecting Yarn
When I first started knitting handmade handbags I had not knitted in several years and I started out fresh. I did still have a collection of knitting needles but all my yarn had been either discarded or given away. I now have quite a collection of yarn. I have several baskets of yarn sitting in my bedroom and several boxes of yarn tucked away in my closet. It seems that I love to buy yarn. I think the next step will be to remodel one of our closets so I have more storage space or open a yarn shop.

It seems that even with an impressive amount of yarn on hand I never have everything I need when I start a new handbag and if I knit a sweater I always need new yarn. I like to visit yarn shops whenever we travel and I always see something new I would like to try when I shop. I usually buy two or three skeins when I see an unusual yarn and that way I can add another yarn to it and make a handbag. Of course that does not always work so I either go to our local yarn shop or look online and then I buy even more yarn.

Do you collect yarn and where do you store it. Let me know.
