Paul Martin helps Devils catch up...
Even after a tough start in the 1st, it seemed that the devils would still sruggle to score.  It was brilliant save after save by martn brodeur that kept the devils alive, but it was also the great skating and puck handling skills by the Devils that has also allowed the devils to get some great scoring chances.  Former devils captian and the new center Patrik Elias was inches away from scoring, elias has really improved his play now that he is center; but tonight it was Paul Martin #7 another player who has been improving his play that cut the sabers lead in half.  The entire play was brilliant, the devils did not give up the puck which allowed a pass to Martin who then went for a strong slap shot.  The puck deflected over Ryan Millers'(sabers goalie) glove and finally into the net.  It is now 2-1, in the third we'll wee if brodeur can still make great saves and see if the Devils can get back to winning this game...
