Well, this is almost a test, as I'm not too sure how its going to work, but here goes!! I was wondering why we are all here? How did you find thoughts.com? Why were you looking? Did you find what you wanted? Has your use of the sight changed since you joined? What's the most important part of being a member of thoughts.com to you? Thanks!!

Posted by deepintought 2008-05-14 10:18:46 I was searching for a new blog site, to set up somewhere to log my thoughts and progress in my new life and job. I did a google search and picked this one from the results. As well as a blog, now I've been here a few days I really hope I can make some friends as well. Starting out on my own in a new country is proving kinda tough, a challenge I'm well up for, but I can see getting pretty lonely for a while. I definately found the easy to use blog i was looking for, and hope that this find will turn into more than that too!

Since joining, I've been writing more and more in reply to forum issues and survey (hence my reply here). So what was the attraction to Thailand?
Posted by deepintought 2008-05-14 13:13:53 Hi Mehitabel. Why Thailand? Because Vietnam didn't want me n India didn't pay enough! I was volunteering in India but the money was running out, and there is no money in ENglish teaching there, so I had to move on, I only had eyes for another Asain country, fancied Vietnam, applyed for a couple of jobs there and heard nothing, then saw a post for a cool sounded job in Thailand, so here I am!!
Posted by BootLady 2008-05-14 16:25:03 I had just finished reading a novel in which the central character was into blogging. It got me thinking...I love to write and interact...why not give it a shot? So I googled something like "free blog sites," weeded out the first few, then washed up here!
