These posts of mine seem to be a lot like buses! None for an age and then suddenly there is no stopping them! There are two reasons for this, firstly, all this talk of 100 posts in a month completely blew my mind. Those of you partaking in the challenge, wow! But, for me it just sounded impossible, I mean I have nothing to say!
But, then I thought, what the hell! If I get some practice in this month, and enjoy it, why not have a crack at 100 in August? Especially as my year here in Thailand is whizzing by soooooo fast, it'd be nice to have a log of it to look back on!
The second reason is I was talking to a friend I made on here when I very first joined and for a short time did post regularly the other night, and we both mentioned how we hadn't blogged in ages, so that convo spurred me on to get back here......
And let's be honest, I can waffle for Thailand, so posting should be no problem, posting read worthy material is another thing entirely, but I shall try to learn to make these things interesting!
Anyway, back to the title! It is 9.40pm here, and after a busy day, and an evening of washing and then planning for tomorrow, I thought that I would get an early night. So, I got ready for bed, laid down (no this isn't going to turn into THAT kind of a post, I promise!!) and looked up. And there it is, directly above my head, suckered to the ceiling, is a little baby lizard. Now, I am happy to have lizards around, for mosquito munching purposes, and they are harmless, and kinda cute in an ugly way! However, I now cannot turn out the lights for fear the little guy will accidentily 'let go' and fall on me!
I'm a big girly wuss I know, but the idea freaks me out! So now, I am perched on the end of my bed writing this, watching th enews on Australia network, willing the little bugger to move somewhere else so I can get some shut eye!
I promise not all my posts will be this pointless!! x
