May I ask how old this artist is? [Or, do I just go look and ask?:P]

I am only interested in the one with the farm land and the Asian couple. The former is rather complex and shows the greatest depiction of perspective and best use of space. The latter looks old-fashion like a nice antique painting.

It's not about lack of art appreciation as it is lack of purpose. Art is either overlooked or overpriced in smaller markets than more "convenient" and necessary goods. Art is a luxury. A hobby. Unlike the days of Michaelangelo and Da Vinci, there isn't a small community seeking statuary for the walls of the King or Emperor's house. No fountains to be designed as much as landscapers simply plan an entire layout with a construction crew. Bigger jobs done by bigger parties. Artists, individuals, are reduced to more personal...private "businessmen".

Perhaps, a good thing. Perhaps, we don't want to turn something that is like life-blood and spiritual enrichment into one more economic contest. Preserve the spirit of quality art and subdue mass-production for the sake of impulse shoppers.
