 in Central America
This is my first entry here in Central America. I arrived here tuesday night. It was good. I got to watch movies with my cousin and I met his friend. Yesterday was the craziest day ever. I woke up like around 1000 in the morning. Watched another movie then got dressed for the day. My cousin and his friend took me to so many different places yesterday, it was crazy. First, we had to walk to the stop where the ¨microbus¨ passes by. Let me tell you that they were so nerve wrecking. They are like minivans converted into public transportation. You pay 25 cents to ride in it.

We waited for awhile and finally go on. The one thing that truly got to me was the fact that the streets here are so freeking small and narrow. There´s buses, microbuses, cars and trucks all trying to pass each other on two lane streets and the worse thng about it is that there is no speed limit. I mean, it´s fun to go fast but, the way they drive here, it´s not such a good idea. Unless you´re looking forward to ending up in the hospital any time soon.

We went to three different malls. They are ùber huge by the way. There´s this one store that looks a lot like our hot topic in the states, except this one is called Bohemia. I drank water from a little plastic bag. I think that was so cool.

One of the things tha I thought was super funny was the fact that in one of the buses that we took, a lady was on board with a LIVE CHICKEN in her bag. Oh man, I thought that was the craziest thing ever. I mean, live chickens are not something I would ever see on our public transportation. On one of the routes back home, we passed by this street where there were call houses on both sides. Yeah, we have prostitutes in the states too but I had never actually seen whore houses.

It´s not like I´m forever looking for a great whore house to go to.The wheather here is very humid and hot. It´s kind of weird to have a hot christmas, yah know. What I noticed that a lot of the young people here have the same style of apparel and accessories like we have in the states. I kinda was expecting something a bit different but much of the scene here is like the scene over there. Hahaha, the only diff is that over here SKA is still alive. Don´t get me wrong,I like ska as well.

We got back home at 730. I took a shower. One of my cousins friends whom I had spoken to before on the phone stopped by. Apparently, my cousin told the whole world that I would be here. We talked. He´s cute but from what I here from my couisn and his friend, he´s a liar. So I was like, oh. he´s just a normal boi eh. lol. Eventually he left and I went to bed. That has beenb my adventure so far here. I will definitely keep you posted on my happenings here for the rest of the time that I have here. I miss the states dearly. Can´t wait to be home soon for the new semester.

Take CARE LUV

Ciao
