I hate being sick!

so yesterday was supposed to be a great day! I had taken a vacation day from work, was going shopping with my friend and mother to get something nice for my big date with Mr. A on saturday (our 6 month Ann. and we are going to a very nice, very expensive steak house), anyways, so we went shopping, mother drove me nuts! thank goodness Ms. Gueber was there! so we finished our shopping, mother went to my aunts house for dinner, and then they were going to a musical play, Ms. Gueber and I went to watch p.s. i love you, it was cute! sad and funny...great! anways then her and i went for a lil more shopping, just having a great day, on the way home i started to feel a lil sick, like a migrane coming on. so i got home and curled up on the couch, my migraine kept getting worse, and then i started to feel like i was going to be sick. tossing my cookies is the last thing in the world i ever want to do, i would rather be sick for a week or a month than to just throw up and feel better in a couple hours! but i couldn't hold it in, and i spent pretty much the whole night on the bathroom floor! i really didn't want to come to work this morning, i still feel like at any minute my stomach may try to again escape me, but if i didn't come in today i wouldn't have gotten paid for the holiday mon & tues. yeah there's this really great policy that says you have to be here the day before and after a "holiday", or have vacation time approved in order to get the holiday pay. so even if you have a doctors note, and miss the day before or after a holiday, you don't get paid for that holiday! so here I am...at work, feeling misserable, and freezing! it looks like it should be a beautiful day outside, but the darn wind is sooo cold.

oh some good news i got yesterday, I got a card from my granma, apparently 11-29 was her and my granpa's 50th wedding anniversary! crazy, she said that family showed up from everywhere! my uncle who lives in AZ, cousins from Colorado and New York even came for it....yeah guess who just heard about it! Congrats to my granparents for making it 50 years! I wish i could have gotten an invite there was a lot of family there that i haven't seen in YEARS...stupid stepmother...
