I sat in my back yard
Feeling the sun on my face.
Still cool out side
wanting time to erase
erase the things of my past
mistakes I have made
People who have hurt me
better plans to be layed
Dream of a day my true love
though I know not who he is
Thoughts seem to wander
imagining the first kiss
Though the people who have hurt me
and loves that I have known
Have molded me into the person I am
and for that I shall not atone
So much love to give
still many years to go
I sit here in the sun
Thinking of a love I will never know
