In today’s fast moving world of ever changing technologies, and highly specialized fields of employment, many of our young people are getting left behind. There jobs are moving to other countries where the wages are low and the education and skill levels are much higher. The stress of staying employed and being able to earn a living wage is getting much harder for so many people today, and they are dropping out of the job market and falling further and further behind in their education levels compared to other countries.
Everyone has begun to point fingers, some at the government, some at big business, and others at our trade agreements and economics policies and the list goes on and on.
I think where we are missing the boat is, far to many of us are relining on the government and big business to solve our everyday common problems such as providing us with a job that will give us regular increases in our wages, providing us with good health insurance and giving us the right retirement package that will allow us to retire comfortable.
While I think these things are necessary for some of us, after all not all of us was purposed to become great leaders, we do need followers. However, for those of us whom God blessed with creativity and purposed to become great leaders, what better time than right now for you to step out of the shadows of your current employer and began to develop within yourself a dangerous spirit of unwavering self alliance on your own God given talents to lift you far beyond the level of captivity that your present job and leadership has held you in. What better time than right now when the economy is in the tank, and teetering towards a depression.
This is the wrong time to expect big government, big business and the major financial institutions to come riding to our rescue. It‘s time for us to become people of one mind living in the body of Christ who is in charge of all the world resources.
Your own individual creative talents are limited only by you not allowing your imagination, to roam the world freely, and seek out the world’s vast resources of wealth and opportunity, that can propel you to become the next millionaire or billionaire.
For the Lord did not give us a spirit of fear and poverty. He gave us a spirit of power, love and prosperity. Now He wants us to use this spirit to power our engines and lift us to great heights that we never before imagine that we could ever reach.
Your mind is an engine that is just waiting for you to insert the ignition key and power it up. Your body is an electrical mechanical instrument housed in human skin waiting to move you in the direction your upper most intelligent systems are commanding it to go in.
What so ever your mind can believe and conceive, believe me when I tell you it can achieve. Nothing shall be impossible for you. The ladder to success is taking one step at a time.
That book you have always dreamed of writing, take the first step now. That business that you have always dreamed of starting, take the first step now. That high rise complex that you have always dreamed of building, take the first step now. That new technology computer system that you have always dreamed of designing, take the first step now. That new high tech energy system that will revolutionize your own community and provide jobs for each resident living there, take the first step now. What ever type of business venture that you have dreamed of starting, there is no better time than right now.
Dave Thomas was a high school drop out. He worked in a restaurant for Colonel Sanders, frying chicken while at the same time dreaming and planning to start his own business. With no high school diploma, no PhD’s behind his name, no SBA loans to bank roll his idea, he started a chain of hamburgers restaurants and named them after his daughter. The result is a world wide billion dollar chain of restaurants called Wendy’s.
A dream is just a dream, an idea is just an idea until you mix it with a burning desire and set it in motion by taking that one giant step at a time and begin climbing the ladder to success.
Remember, nothing ventured, nothing gained. You are never too young and you are never too old to climb this ladder. There is always plenty of room at the top for everyone who is willing to take that first step. Jesus said, “If He would be lifted up, that He would draw all men unto Him.”

What wise and inspirational words Davis. Here, in Ireland, the artisans have beeen riding high with the growth
in property and building work going on everywhere as this country has caught up with the UK. Now this is grinding to a halt and people who had too much work 6 months ago are having to look hard to find it.
I agree with you wholeheartedly. If you can't find work in your own field, look elsewhere. There is always something which needs doing and, if you succeed in a recession, you will be comfortable when it is over.
For those of us with faith, it is time to turn to the Lord for guidance and then to trust that He will provide it. Thank you Davis. I guess this post will be a huge help to many right now. Elaine
Thanks for stopping by, and yes you are so right on. The list is very long and it serves to show those who would have doubt that they too can be successful only if they would just start right from where they are right now.
You and I are in total agreement here on our faith. If we as believers can't see the forest at this time and know that God will provide, when will we ever understand that with God all things are possible.
When John stated that faith without corresponding works is dead, we must realize that in order for God to work through us, we must stop being couch potatoes and get up and get out and do something then watch God work. I am a living witness and I know it can happen if only we will begin.
Have a blessed and prosperous day.
I agree, Davis. God will provide, but we have to do our part, as well. We can't just sit back and do nothing. We certainly can't let our Egos hold us back either. When times are hard, our creativity can come to the forefront and flourish. We have to have faith!
Ellie, we are on the same page, reading from the same book. My hope is that the one person that is in need of just a little kick and take this and move forward to where God has purposed them to be. And yes, Faith is the key that unlocks the door to success.
Thanks as always for visiting and bringing joy to my heart.
