A Master Card and Sex Wedding
A Master Card and Sex Wedding

Last night I received this email from a friend about a recent article she read in her local news paper concerning a recent wedding that took place at the Clemson University here in South Carolina. After I read Ellie’s comments that she shared with me concerning her husband and how she handle the situation, I thought I would share this with all of you to see how others have handle similar situations.
After the wedding, at the reception, the groom got up on stage with a microphone to talk to the crowd. He said he wanted to thank everyone for coming, many from long distances, to support them at their wedding.
He especially wanted to thank the bride's and his family and to thank his new father-in-law for providing such a lavish reception. As a token of his deep appreciation he said he wanted to give everyone a special gift just from him. So taped to the bottom of everyone's chair, including the wedding party was an envelope. He said this was his gift to everyone, and asked them to open their envelope. Inside each manila envelope was an 8x10 glossy of his bride having sex with the best man. The groom had gotten suspicious of them weeks earlier and had hired a private detective to tail them. After just standing there, just watching the guests' reactions for a couple of minutes, he turned to the best man and said, 'F---you!' Then he turned to his bride and said, 'F--- you!' Then he turned to the dumbfounded crowd and said, 'I'm out of here.'

He had the marriage annulled first thing in the morning. While most people would have canceled the wedding immediately after finding out about the affair, this guy goes through with the charade, as if nothing were wrong.

His revenge--making the bride's parents pay over $32,000 for a 300-guest wedding and reception, and best of all, trashing the bride's and best man's reputations in front of 300 friends and family members.

This guy has balls the size of church bells.

Do you think we might get a MasterCard 'priceless' commercial out of this?

Elegant wedding reception for 300 family members and friends: $32,000.

Wedding photographs commemorating the Occasion: $3,000

Deluxe two-week honeymoon accommodations in Maui : $8,500.

The look on everyone's face when they saw the 8x10 glossy of the bride humping the best man: Priceless.

There are some things money can't buy, for everything else
There's MASTERCARD

Check snopes.com to see how "recent" and factual this story is, if interested. This has been floating around the internet for years. Technology may grow in leaps and bounds, but overall human nature is still pretty much right where it was when the wheel was invented. We're a gullible bunch.

Greetings GhostOfDerekD0min0:

Thanks for stopping by and commenting on this post. I took your advise and check this out at snopes.com, but I found nothing relating to this story. However, I did find the website quite interesting. I have bookmarked it and I will use it for future research.
However, the main point that I found in this email was it supported Ellie's story of how to win the game that you are playing in, and not to get beaten down at every turn.

Life gives us what we ask of it, and if we just sit around holding pity pat parties for ourselves, that is what we will always have. But if we get up and look at the forest instead of starring at the trees, we put ourselves into a much better position to discover the game plan and make it work for us instead of allowing it to always work against us.

Please do stop back and visit often, and I hope that you will find something here that can encourage and inspire you towards your purpose and destination.

May God richly bless you and prosper you this day.

Much love,

Davis

Good Morning Ellie:

Thanks for the comments. I too agree and truly love it when good conquers bad. It is a great feeling deep inside of you that rises up and makes you scream yes, yes, yes.

But in all fairness, this was posted in support of what happen to you. It was also a great feeling to see how you took a bad situation and turned it into a positive for yourself. Great Job.

Don't ever stop fighting for what you believe in and God will bless you for trusting in Him. Do have a blessed day and much love to you.

Davis

Thanks Gwatian

You are right on the money as far as MasterCard is concern. But on the other hand, maybe the Governor of New York was experimenting to see if it was possible for him to buy him love. Just a thought.

Much love,

Davis
