There is nothing special about today... it's just a day. But to me it's seen as 1 day closer to freedom! I work full time, so the only time I get any days off is if I take them. That's exactly what I plan to do Friday. It will give me a short break from work. I will have Friday, Saturday and Sunday off... I have to work until 12:30 Monday (which I'm still hoping the boss decides that it's pointless and doesn't make us come in) and then I have Tuesday off for Christmas. Then it's back to work for the rest of the week, only to be greeted by another short week the week after! :-)
Not a whole lot has happened in the time since I posted my last entry.
The most exciting thing that happened was that I got to go to my first Detroit Red Wings hockey game Monday night. I've been a hockey fan quite a while but I've never had the opportunity to go, that is, until I got free tickets! (Thanks Mom!) Even though we missed the first 5 minutes of the game it was still a lot of fun :-)
Last night I had to make a mad dash over to the west side of Lansing (which is about 45 minutes from where I live) after work. I didn't think I'd ever have to search all over mid-Michigan for fleece fabric! LOL. My boyfriend is a huge Packers fan and it was near impossible to find this fabric. After calling every JoAnn Fabric I could find and countless Wal-Mart stores my search came to an end on Monday. Now that just leaves my mom that I have to get something for... and then I will be done! YAY!
