Okay, lets discuss romance in this day and age. Romance is the not the same romance that Charlotte Bronte as well as Jane Austen use to read about. I just finished watching the Jane Austen Book Club. Throughout the whole movie , my feelings were unreal. First and foremost love doesnt just appear. Love takes time to develop and all of sudden after reading Austen all of these characters suddenly felt that their lives were straightened out. A book shouldnt tell you if your in love with someone or not. Although the movie was great, I felt it was more of a tear-jerky movie than a movie that is suppose to have a profound effect on you. I feel as if love today is more about All-American Rejects "it ends tonight" or Marvin Gaye "Let's get it on". I know most people would agree with me that love is something you feel, but how the hell does a twelve-year old know shes in love?Love is full of tricks. The only solution is being prepared for those tricks. I appreciate Jane Austen's writing but I believe she is meant for the older generation. I think that if she was alive to day she would write about sex and infidelity all those restrictions that were banned during her time. I might sound as if I am against love and that's not true, I just feel as if love isnt meant to just happen once, I feel as if love is meant to happen all the time. And if love does happen, I want the full works. I want 18th century romance or else it does end tonight.

You dont know what time to live in:P But, I nod to your desire for fantasy romance. Im not sure what to make of all that. So, that book/movie is outdated. Okay. You know, I think it was Judy Blume who wrote a teenage coming of age story that got her in trouble and put her out of the children book biz for a while. She recently is trying to make a comeback. But, when that book hit the fan, she was talked about for bridging the "adult" topic of sex. Everything just changes with the times. Duh.
When I was 12, I thought I knew love, too. Back then, other boys still thought girls had cooties;/
