This morning I was listening to the radio... and a thought occurred to me. Stay with me cause this is probably going to be a bit confusing. It's a little confusing to me... and I thought of it. =P
I have a theory... that every song... is for one specific person. Even if the musician who wrote the song wrote it already with a person in mind, this may not be the person that this particular song fits. A few examples... "Lady Madonna" by the Beatles... there has got to be a woman out there that this song completely fits, like it was actually written for her. "Desperado" - gotta be someone out there that every single word in this song applies to them.
It was a crazy thought. I mean, wouldn't you want to be able to match up these people with these songs and then be able to meet them? It's like, "Wow, so you're 'You're So Vain'. I can see that...."
I guess I just thought it was more fun to think up the people that would match each song. Above I mentioned, "You're So Vain".... to that one... I imagine a tall, uber-thin, dyed-hair mess that holds her opinion of herself high above others.... so much so you can see it on her face. Her make-up is overdone, her clothes smell like smoke from her Virginia slims, and she's holding a compact mirror up to admire her color palette of a face, ignoring the world around her.
So here's something fun. Think of a song, think of the description of a person to match it, then post it up here as a comment. It'd be cool to see what you come up with! =D
