So, anyone up for a question-of-the-day? Work has been crazy lately so I haven't had a chance to get on here and do my thing. =( Work.... blechhhh =P
I've gotten a new request for a phrase look-up! Anyone ever heard of the phrase, "You're such a card!"? So where'd that come from? I intend to find out. I'll post my findings ASAP.
Now...*drumroll*.... the question. (Yeah, I know it's not that important but... hey! Let me live I say!)
TheMorningAfter's post about her freaky 2am highway man got me to thinking on this. I hope we get a lot of comments. I think it'll be interesting.
What's the scariest thing you've ever experienced?
(NOTE: This doesn't necessarily mean that it has to be anything like crazy spooky killer trying to get into your house... it could mean just a nightmare you had that scared you, or a feeling that something bad happened eventhough it might not have. It's all about what YOU'VE experienced/felt, whether it happened or not.)

Off the top, I thought I was going to die once while choking. I can't say, "I almost choked to death", but I was alone, and kinda grey-looking. And, it freaked me out.

When I was about to go see The Grudge 2, my friend layed down on the ground and made that scary noise they make in the movie and I seriously almost peed my pants. I'm so weird.
And I have NO idea what's up with the iamnotsam thing. The black thing....the asian thing....it's just weird. I like to think she's joking but I'm too caucasian to tak offense to stuff I guess.

Q: What's the scariest thing you've ever experienced?
For me it was going to prison. Theres absolutely nothing at all that I've done that was more terrifying. Mainly because I didn't belong there...I had no idea what to expect, what was going to happen, when I was going to get my 'sweet sweet man-gina' violated. But luckily, I had all charges dropped after just 2 years...but they shouldn't have come up at all. I may make a blog about this but...eh....it's kind of personal topic for me so...I'm not sure.

Ok I had a few, man wise when i was a teen some guy as i was crossing the stret he said nice legs who am i to argue right. so i smiled at him and kept wlaking i said nothing! he apparently followed me back to work and started just showing up. Sent me weird letters saying all this crap he wasnt to do tome sexualy umm Im a teen he was like 40. He foundout enough to know where i lived whre i hung out. My BF and i went swimming at the local pond he tried to pull meinto the car my BF was quick enough to hit him grab me and we ran home and stayed in the house. My mom thought I did something to encourge this until the manager of where I worked called her and told her what really all happened the letters we called the police and found out he lived in another state and did this slaking everyday. The police took care of it but it scared the shit out of me.
Now the scarest thing that I have even experianced was a night mare about being car jacked with my 13 yr old. thye pplayed all the sick head games with tortured me and my son making the other watch. then the seperated us when i talked them into at least keeping us together they said the had a surprise for me took me to a location with all the washers and dryers that were junk and opened one up and my son was killed dismembered in there. I woke up screaming out loud crying woke up the whole house. no one could get me clam I was running through the house looking for my son. That to me was the scariest thing I have ever gone through even though it wasn't real it messed me up for about a month, since then I have had insomnia issues. God that dream was fucked up. I feel bad for parents who have gone through loosing children just a crazy ass world we live in where shit like that could happen to someone.

OK this is a lil different than the rest, but here it goes.
I was 19 years old and living in an apartment with my hubby, our 13 month old son and a roommate. Being so young and all I picture myself a as budding Martha Stewart or something ...blah blah blah.
I cooked, cleaned, swept and laundered everything in the place and decided to brew some sun tea to have with dinner.
We lived in the basement apartment... I had to go up a flight of stairs and out a security lock door(that only opens with a key) in order to set the jar in the sun. So I go out my apartment door, up the stairs and I open the security door. I had to lean out to the edge of the porch to actually reach the sun, so I held the huge glass and steel door with my foot and did the big stretch.
OMG! I got the worst foot cramp in the world!! Involuntarily my foot twitched and let go of the security door.
I was now locked OUTSIDE of the building!! To make matters all the worse I had left my apartment door open, so my 13 month old son came crawling out and up the stairs.
There I was OUTSIDE the building while my baby was INSIDE crawling up, up and up the 5 floors of stairs of the building!!
He had barely figured out the whole walking thing ... so all I could see in my head was him trying to WALK back down the stairs to where I was and falling!!
Can you imagine your child falling right in front of you ... you can see him fall but not catch him .... AND EVEN WORSE ... he can see you and you are not picking him up and comforting his pain!!
I rang every doorbell to every apartment in the whole building!! Sadly enough a few people came out of their apartments and did not let me in tho I was an absolute screaming wreck!!
Finally I went to my basement apartment window and kicked in the glass, dumped over the entertainment center and climbed inside (without a scratch I might add!) before my baby actually fell and hurt himself!
I've faced some pretty frightening things in my life, but that was the worst thing by far!!
