I was just wondering the same thing, actually. I saw his posts a couple days ago, and he was still on the popular blog list.

I would imagine that, FINALLY, after enough people flagged his mean, hurtful, hateful, and VERY CRUDE remarks, including the blog a couple days ago, which, by the way, topped everything he had ever written, that his acct. was finally closed! Thank you Jesus AND Thoughts Staff!!!

They were the most vile, evil things a person could ever imagine, and then some, regarding little Anna Grylls and her parents. I'm sorry, I could never, ever repeat what he said. If you go to my comments, I'm sure you will be able to figure out which one was my response to him, though.

CONVICTION! ugh! That's what I am feeling right now! On the one hand no one likes to feel guilt and/or embarrassment over something they have done wrong; such as I have just done: GOSSIPING! Believe me, I am feeling both!

But, on the other hand, as a Christian seeking to live a life that is pleasing to God, I welcome it, because it leads to repentance; submission of one's sinful nature to Him, and yielding to the Potter's hand! And so, I have not only asked God to forgive me, but, I ask those who may have read my comments, to "PLEASE FORGIVE ME!", as well.

Ouch... I didn't any of what he said... so I was kind of in the dark. From what I could pick up, he said some pretty hurtful things about Anna and her family. I personally don't know them, but I feel sorry for them about what happened. That had to be traumatic.

Alice, there's good gossip and bad gossip. Good gossip can be telling someone that there's going to be a baby shower on Saturday blah blah blah... bad gossip is when someone is maliciously spreading hurtful things, whether they be true or false, about another human being with the intent to hurt said person. I really don't believe you were guilty of that.

So does anyone think he got kicked off? Or ... did he leave voluntarily? I can't imagine leaving voluntarily when you wrote as much as he did and was one of the most popular blogs.

Now, to answer your question:

GenghisJohn did write a very rude and unacceptable post. We removed the post and asked him not to make any more posts like this because they are inconsiderate and violate our terms and conditions. He also made a number of rude and hurtful comments on other member’s blogs from which we receive numerous complaints. We asked him to please show respect to our members or to find another site to blog at. He then asked us to delete his account which we did. Thoughts.com is a free and open community were everyone can share their thoughts on whatever the subject might be. We only ask that you show everyone respect.

Thoughts_staff, I applaud you! =) Although some of his posts were entertaining to read, I really commend you for your objectivity and impartiality. He was a top contributor but that didn't seem to sway your judgement when it came to protecting the community. That's noteworthy. =)

As for coming back, I don't know yet. To be honest with you, I do miss it! =)
