Democrats! Advice from a Republican....
So Obama is the presumptive Democratic nominee.  I am not worried in the least - in my opinion the Democrats are fighting for the right to decide whom McCain is going to spank.  And for all the Messianic foolishness that is Barack Hussein Muhammad bin Obama, I cant help but think of how foolish his nomination would be for the Democratic party.  Obama has won delegates, sure. But can he win a general election? Now, don't get me wrong - I detest Obama, Billary, and all Democrats.  But merely as an intellectual exercise, I would like to make a recommendation to the national Democratic party as it enters into its convention.  Go with Hillary, because I can assure you that Obama is incapable of winning a general election. Here's why:

Certain states are without a doubt going to go Republican this year (no matter who the presidential candidates are) and certain states are going to go Democratic (no matter who the presidential candidates are). It is not significant that Hillary won Texas, because Democrats don't have a chance there, and it is not significant that Obama won North Carolina, which has not voted for a Democratic presidential candidate in more than 30 years.

Conversely, though, there are certain states that the Democrats are going to win - like Illinois, which Obama won. We will call these states "Safe States" for Democrats.  But here is the problem - for the few states in which there is a sliver of a doubt as to how they are going to vote (and these are the states in which the election will be decided) - theoretically they could go either for a GOP or Democratic candidate in the general election.  These are states that sometimes vote GOP, and sometimes DemoRat - states like Arkansas, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, Florida, and Michigan.  These states are arguably "Disputed States" vis-a-vis the upcoming general election battle between the GOP and DemoRats.

Note the pattern:  Hillary has won ALL of the disputed states so far.  Now, West Virginia is coming up - which I would consider to be a disputed state.  But note that ONLY Hillary has won disputed states thus far.  And even if Obama won West Virginia, there are not enough electoral votes in that state to make up for the loss of all the other states.

As the electoral map goes, the vote of somebody like me really doesn't matter.  Whether I show up to vote Republican in my home state of North Carolina is irrelevant - if I don't vote for the Republican presidential candidate, someone else will.  The outcome of North Carolina's, South Carolina's, Texas', and Virginia's electoral votes are not in question - they will go to the GOP nominee.  By the same token, it is irrelevant that Obama won Illinois or Wisconsin - no matter who the nominees are, the Democrats will take those two states.

The only votes that matter are the votes of people who live in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Florida, New Jersey, and other disputed states.  And Obama has showed a decided inability to win in those states.  He is batting .000 in states likely to be disputed in the upcoming general election.

These states tend to go for moderate politicians - like George W. Bush and Hillary.  Obama is a flaming liberal - a veritable Maoist.  These states tend to favor experienced politicians with executive experience - all having voted for Reagan.  Obama's hour and a half of experience is not likely to be impressive to these voters.  In a head to head contest between McCain (a decidedly moderate and proven candidate) and Obama (a Marxist newbie), who do you think these states are going to choose?  McCain, of course.

Now, I have to be honest, I don't think that either Barack Hussein Muhammad bin Obama nor Hillary "Bruno" Clinton has half a chance against McCain.  But such a chance as Democrats have, they have only with Hillary.  Hillary has proven that she can win big, delegate-rich states that may vote Republican.  Obama has won ONLY safe Democratic haven states.  And there is ZERO chance that the moderate voters in a state like Pennsylvania, Ohio, or Florida are going to choose a vapid Marxist over John McCain.

My advice to Democrats?  If you want to win, go with Hillary.  You CANNOT win with Barack Hussein Muhammad bin Obama.

But then again, I am the enemy, so should you listen to me?
