 Writer's Block Part 2 (poem)
Writer's Block: it aint no fun,
Shrivel my paper like a prune in the sun.
What should I say? Er...what should I write?
Thank goodness I still have my sight.
But my mind be blankin'! It's straight up hatin'!
Maybe I should pray to Satan.
He has the answers. Or so I'm told,
(Don't tell that to a Christian who's old)
Getting off track, it's focus time,
Although I sure can spit a good rhyme.
The Spice Girls won't inspire me!
Their lyrics are like poop and pee.
Now I ask: what would Batman do?
"Goly G Minor!" I haven't a clue.
OH I know! Search the depths of my mind,
Open my thoughts so I won't feel blind.
Okay, I have it, I know what to say.
It's back to work time. Have a nice day!

Fun poem. I love the Batman reference.

Have you thought of using the tag feature in thoughts when you write your blog? I'm always checking to see who's posting under Writing or related topics which makes it easier to find blogs I'm interested in after they've dropped from the front page.

I did use the tag feature, though I wrote poem instead of writing. I will be sure to do that next time.
And thanks!
