This is Natasha, I am from Russia, and I am named after the famous character of Tolstoy’s War and Peace. I have been married to an Australian for two years and I love it!
In my growing years, make-up articles and cosmetics were hard to purchase.
I, like any other teenager, yearned to use make-up, like the film stars and models I saw in magazines; glossy red lipstick, long nails painted red or pink or silver, rouge on the cheeks, green or blue eye-shadow....
When I first came here, I was mesmerized by the weather, shopping malls, the food, the glitter, and fun. Christmas was even more fun, with sunny skies and clear weather, not snow covered as back home!
I remember feasting my eyes on cosmetics in all those decorated shops; every coloured bottle, every jar, and every vial made me want to buy it...and I did....so many!
I am still crazy about cosmetics and shopping for them is soooo exciting, but now I have a job and my little daughter Nadia, who keeps me very busy, so no time for all those trips to the malls, no trying out dozens of perfumes and nail colours...! Sad....have I tired of shopping?
No never!
I have just got myself this wonderful lip-gloss, it is an unusual shade of warm pink with a little glitter, matching nail paint and a new shade of eye-shadow called ‘Mystery’
My husband says he can take Natasha away from the shopping but he cannot take shopping away from Natasha!
