| My Husband, my friend |
|
I don't mention my husband in here very much, but he is a huge part of my life. A 'wild and crazy 'boy when we met, He became a man other men look up to.
In the years he has run his companies he has worked harder than any of his employees.
He never shirked the hard jobs, the ones others were afraid to do, or just too complicated to figure out.
While still in his twenties he was running a business at the airport, with T.W.A. and American Airlines as his major clients, Hughes Airwest(now defunct) and other smaller airlines also.
He was comfortable making his own decisions, and in the company of big business. Later, he decided to build and he has built many many buildings we can still point out all over Arizona and California.
I have been with him, in the office, on the phones, typing, holding the ladder, whatever, all these years.
We have had epic battles, slam the door spin the tires I'm outta here battles. It is impossible to work with anyone and not have differences.
We managed to raise four children.I count them a success, no one went to jail! Built our own homes, lived in them, sold them, and did it again. several times over.
He prodded me to take chances I wouldn't have done without him. Mountain climbing, rock climbing, caving, spelunking )Flying? how did I get here? It has been a roller coaster.
I guesss I got used to it, along the way, we didn't find so many things to differ about.
Now he is sick, we don't know how to do sick, so all the days he can still work, he does. Then the days he needs pampering, I do. Hope I have forty more years with him.
We haven't had enough time alone.
God knows we need the rest
