| Just stuff, and a get well wish
|
|
|
Last week, I did the Q.O.D. rather hurriedly, as I did not expect to be asked. Then I see the thoughtful questions asked by others, and I feel silly. C'est la vie. Mine anyway. I usually think of the witty rejoiner after I pop off with something else. I am not about to bore anyone with a "wish I had asked this" second chance, one to a customer I think it is.
Aside from that, it has been a stressful week at my house, I really do need some peaceful time. I know I am not getting any anytime soon, but I can plan it. Daydreaming is a nice escape.
Have you ever had something bad happen, and you want to go back in time to make it right, change it, fix it, a do- over, we don't get do-overs.No edit butons for real life.
Oh, and in todays blogs, I see two accidents, geordie dreamer has been injured. Looks like that could have been a tragedy, instead of something recoverable. And Roe injured her ankle. I personally am staying indoors, maybe under the covers.
Bad news comes in threes, be careful.
Get well soon Geordie, and Roe!!! |

Now you know why I am so overruled by fears:(
I never forget an old car commercial in which the guy said "In real life, there is no reset button." It stuck with me through high school and beyond.
No need to throw jinxes or hexes around:P

Thanks so much, for the get well wishes, you must be feeling a little better too, because you are starting to look like your old self again.
I think you should get a do over if you want it
just call it
on second thought...question of another day
go ahead, lay it on us!
My son brought 2 of his buddies up for the 4th and the day after I fell down the stairs, his buddy broke his nose in two places...did you know that the ER is very busy on the 4th, they had a double shift happening!!

Oh, so you guys took care of the 'threes' syndrome all by yourselves. Sorry for your pain.
Ow! Ow! Ow! Come out Brainstorm, the coast is clear!
My geniuses have gone to 'play' in other years, and dove off of cliffs, drove 'rock hopping' down steep mountains, gone rock climbing, wave running, and assorted other 'fun' which left them with the scars to prove it. The clincher was an acccident in a dunebuggy that left my son with a torn ACL or summat. He has had three surgeries on that, and has a 'dead man walking', cadaver tendon in his knee, two other tendons re-died.
It has slowed him down a little, that is sad. On the other hand, he is still around to enjoy normal fun. And WHERE were you this weekend! Hasn't come up as much.

I'm with Roe on this one, circe! You go ahead and TAKE a do-over if you want one! This may just be the one place where all things are possible!

No,thanks, I was just envying Roe her thoughful question. One to a customer, I still think. At least until people start turning it down.
Oh, but if ALL things are possible...I DO have some requests.Lets see, make me skinny, give me the winning numbers... go back in time, and Lord give me some patience, NOW!
