Good for you. I feel the same. Celebrate every happy thing in your life. We decorate for birthdays almost like for christmas. Have a happy happy birthday! If you were my neighbor you would have cookies delivered by me and my little girl next door buddy. We do stealth cookie deliveries to the mailbox of some of our favorite people. christmas, valentines, and birthdays! shhhh! the mailman is in on it , but disapproves, we bribe him with... you guessed it.

Funny thing...when we married, I was the one getting the stares and indecent propposals. As HE aged, he got more and more attractive. We don't go anywhere without some woman, young,old, whatever, telling him how good looking he is. he has been chased down and hugged by some desperate girl nut. Hugged"mistakenly" by someone thinking he was a movie star. He is stopped very often by women asking who he is. His eyes are very blue, his curly hair is white,he has an attractive beard. And he is all mine. Life can be sooo funny.

For all who are sick, my prayers are with you. My Husband has leukemia, we pray a lot for a cure for cancer. I believe we are close, for most types. There are non-invasive no drug, therapies in the works. One I am rooting for uses a magnetic marker to bind with a virus, and be killed by radiowave when white blood cells gather and attack the virus. GO Researchers! Dh is a consultant with a medical imaging tool not yet out on the market. Big hopes for it.

It has everything to do with her self image, everything. You are right. Self image is what gives you the courage to step up, be confident. A woman who is unsure of her looks doesn't take the initiative, she holds back. It is tragic that she was made to feel inadequate. It stunts the growth, emotionally and all that causes.
I am the oldest daughter in a large family, I was the 'smart' one, another was the "athletic" one, another the "pretty" one. Funny thing,when we look at old photos, it is hard to tell us apart.

We needed Judas to fulfil the prophecy. No Judas, no redemption for humanity. The transfiguration of Jesus from a purely physical being needed the finality of death. The true metaphysical transformation,risen from the dead,ascended into heaven. Man AND God, is what gives us humans our spiritual place in the creation. In other words it gave us our ticket into Heaven, whatever you percieve that to be, I believe it is oneness with God.
Yes, Catholic school, and a lot more years after that. A period of questioning, mandatory I think, and a total acceptance from a scientific angle.
No religious arguments please, this is my opinion.( read about opinions elsewhere) you are welcome to yours.

Hmm there is a 6" difference in height between DH and I. He can't dance, all the lessons and wishing will not make it happen. Showering,though, we got that down! Staring into his beautiful eyes? Now there is a reason to see eye to eye. I think you are onto something here.

What is it with you guys? She seems coarse and common to me. Note the fingernails in pic. Maybe coarse and common is what he needed. Sometimes I think self destruction is the underlying occult motive. Meaning it is not a concious thought. For argument's sake,say he wanted out of the life he and his wife had worked for. Feeling overwhelmed or unworthy. He found a way out.

As a woman who has been on both sides of this topic. A marriage partner who cheats usually is fulfilling something lacking in themselves. Take a look at the average, common actally less than ordinary hooker, and contrast that with Spitzers wifes pictures in his last campagn. She is pretty bright and alive looking. He was not looking for better, just different. There are many reasons to stray, some show a desire for self destruction.

You are so right, but the dumbing down of america continues to erode our quality of life in most aspects. I get a knee-jerk response to the suggestion that too much sexual content in all media is harmful to children. The news today showing the 1 in 4 ratio of girls with STD's shows that something is missing in the sex education in schools. Maybe it is not as effective as all the ads selling sex?

I am not saying sex is sin. I am pointing out the societal pressure on young girls for sex too soon. When I mention dollies, that means impressionable young girls. The mind is not finished being wired yet even at puberty. All the education in the world can't make you truly understand the consequences if the cerebral cortex is still unfinished. Religion is not mentioned or implied in my post.
The physiological response to sexual stimulus means the equipment works. We are born with a strong grip too, does that teach infants to hang on or do we hold them?
