It is completely wrong to attempt to get with your cirlfrien's boy friend. Even if they should break up , and you attempt to date him you will still loose her as your friend, and maybe even turn her into one of your worst enemies.

I can tell you how much it hurts when a friend takes over your boyfriend. You don`t want to be in such position and you should not do it as well. One day you will find someone who is right just for you and you won`t have to share it with anyone. Just because you happened to be the only single person in your close group of friends doesn`t mean that you are less worth it. It sucks I know, but please don`t try to take over your best friend`s boy because at the end of the day we need friends to cry on their shoulder when the guy turns away and leaves us. Boyfriends come and go, but best friends are for life.
