I know of someone who seems a lot like you describe MrSelfDestruct. This person confuses me but facinates me as well. Sometimes I feel we have to look at those who are different from us to learn something new about ourselves. :)

great blog my friend but as i am an atheist i feel i have my right to reply also.
not all we atheists here are as ignorant as some you know, i am an atheist as i was robbed of my religion when i was raped as a young child, i was a very devout catholic.
then in my teens i was a born again christian but even that failed me.
i have absolutely nothing against anyones religion wherever they be in the world,
as i believe that everyone has the choice to choose.

I appreciate what you had to say. I do understand that not all atheists are like MisterSelfDestruct. I understand the rape thing because that happened to me as well when I was young. I imagine you have your own personal reasons for religion failing you. Personally it has never failed me. My blog was leaning more towards MisterSelfDistruct but not just him others that have not been so nice to me and I have found to be atheists. I am not opposed to being friends with someone who is atheist because I do have friends who are. Again, thanks for what you had to say.

Like others on this site I enjoy being able to express my views to an open group of people; I agree with a lot of what AnotherDeadHero (MisterSelfDestruct to you) says and if you would like I could explain to you how I came to a place in the world where despising those I come into contact with seems to be a correct response. I am also an atheist, that has nothing to do with my hatred of others though, my religious beliefs have shifted over the years but I am not a believer in god. There is nothing that you could do to change that, just as there is nothing that I can do to change your faith (even if there was I wouldn't try, your faith is your business)
As i already stated I would be happy to talk to your about how I came to hate people, that being a matter of my understanding of the world I don't feel a need to tell you in these comments.
Also, one last point, I personally would never delete a comment on my blog, every person can and should have an opinion. Whatever that opinion is I want to hear it.

I do appreciate that you didn't come across just talking a bunch of smack to me just because of what I said. There have been a few people that have commented on this blog and the reason I deleted them was because of the rudeness they gave me for no reason. I do agree that everyone has a right to have their own opinion. I think that if people would comment more like you and fraglerock did it would make things better and easier and I wouldn't feel the need to delete their comments. As I have stated I'm not against all atheists and I do understand that people do have different beliefs. The atheists that I'm more referring to are the ones who just decide to comment on my blogs or replying to my comments on their blogs with disrespect. Personally I don't like MisterSelfDestruct but that is my personal opinion and if someone agrees with what he has to say that is their opinions. But again I appreciate that you didn't come to me with disrespect.

You are welcome, I try to hold back on my own lack of respect for people until they prove themselves deserving. All I have heard from you are some opinions which I agree with and more that I disagree with, that doesn't mean that i respect you but I do know that the only way you will listen is if I am being decent. Since I feel my opinions are worthwhile I try to say them in a way you will listen to them, I feel that i did that correctly here. Many people don't like MSD and the people like him, I understand that, I think he knows what he is talking about but that, as you say, is my opinion.
