Why do kids have to push the limits all the time? I mean come on even God took a day off. Here it is 11 at night and Caleb just got done with his dishes that he started at 7 and there was only a sink full of already rinsed off dishes and we have a friggin dishwasher. He took his shower quickly which never happens. Then he is doing something on the stairs I tell him to go to bed and he says he is getting dressed still and he has been out of the shower for 10 minutes. I tell him to hurry up. I hear him still gooffin off on the stairs and ask him what he is doing. He says that he gonna brush his teeth. He gets done there and wants a drink. He does this every night. When I told that he needed to get his dishes done, he spent so much time goofin off and doing this and doing that, I didn't hear any water for an hour. I mean come on it took him 4 hours to do the dishes. It would have only taken me maybe 30 mins and that would include wiping all of the counters and the table and sweep the floor. Oh another thing he does is everytime he gets started on the dishes, maybe 10 minutes into it, he has to take the worlds longest shits. Then something always starts to hurt. I can't just let him get away with not doing his chores but he comes up with every excuse not to do it. I don't know what to do.
