| Just some thoughts on being cursed |

It's weird how on Monday morning I was contemplating what kind of cake I should have for my birthday on Saturday and if I should let the kids crack the eggs or not. Monday morning I also predicted that if there was a way for my birthday to be wash, that it would happen. All I wanted to do was make a lemon flavered cake with my boys and then take my mom and my husband's dad fishing on mother's day. I wanted to make a day of the fishing with a picnic and playing with the kids. That seems like a lifetime away now and I realize that it doesn't matter. Apparently my birthday is just an all around bad day in the world. My grandmother on my dads side died a few days before my birthday and she was cremated on my birthday. Then there's this with my father-in-law around birthday. Bad things happen to good people around my birthday. This year I get to hide out in my house afraid because there is some crazy old washed out hippie has been threatening to get back at us for something that isn't even our fault. Maybe we should just go away for the weekend, put the stress and problems on the back burner for a day or two and just live, enjoy ourselves, well as much as is possible.
When you put everything together, I think that it truely points to the fact that I am for sure cursed and that I should from this day forward go with the flow and know that many bad things are to come. Of course my whole life I have had all of these crazy, wierd, bad things happen to me and everyone says that god does things for a reason and what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. I have always wondered what I had to be so damn strong for, what was going to happen to where I needed thick skin. Maybe this is it, just maybe. Oh how I really, really hope so!!!!
