| Confrontation and Conflict

I am in so many ways a coward, I will do anything to avoid conflict and ocnfrontation, I detest it, and find it uncomfortable, emotional and unsettling, but what I hate most is the barrage of questions that have become part of the most common confrontation I encounter.
What is it about you
Why can't you just
What's so wrong with you
What's so special about you
Why won't you
What did I do to make you
What's that
What's this
Where have you been
What did do
Who told you that
I have rational, and perfectly acceptable answers for all of these questions, I use them on a regular basis to quell the voices that shout and scream in my head and next to my ear. But in a situation of confrontation, it just always seems to end in conflict. Tempers rise, people say things that shouldn't be said, and the over all effect is that of devastation and fear of the threats left hanging in the air that remain, and stale the air for days and weeks at a time. Those threats that are indicative of "Help" and of something that " They " think is altogether wrong.
I may be a coward for avoiding such, but I am strong, because I still resist. They will not get me with their games, they are using to unsettle me, no matter how many times I am put into this situation, I will prevail, because to aviod conflict and confrontation may be cowardly, but to evoke it, to evoke it is weak, it shows you know no other way.
I am strong, and I will prevail above such weakness, and cruelty.
