Good morning guys....
Hope everyone is well today
I'm good, I slept well and I drempt very well
I dreamed of days on the beach with my man and baby
Of our trip to the States in the autumn
It was a happy dream that has set me up for the rest of the day, so I'm in good spirits
I woke to find Stanley aready awake, gurgling away and waving his arms around like a crazy baby,
So I gave him a cuddle, a kiss and his breakfast
Then discovered he had left me a truly delightful present in his nappy
(thanks, son)
So I changed him, cleaned him up, cuddled him some more and finally got my own breakfast
My mum loves the house, she cant believe we live here!
I must admit, I still do, and always will, get a kick out of opening my bedroom curtains and seeing sand, sea, seaguls, and yes, sunshine (sadly that never lasts past about 8am these days before clouds decend). But the beauty of it is...even when its cloudy, its still stunning.
So, today I'm gonna take my mum around the town, do a little bit of shopping, grab a coffee and then head to the hospital. I'm taking Stan with me today. I rang the hospital earlier and David's much more awake today, alert and chatting away, so I think he will want to see his son. It sounds like he is on the mend, so I'm really happy.
Anyway...mum is ready to go, Stan is ready to go, but I'm not. so I'll say by for now
Have a good day
Lots of love

David likes this song, because Dire Straits did a lot of concerts where we live now, Whitley Bay, in the 80's and he used to go to them. They performed at a place called 'Spanish City'

Its a derelict building now, but back in its heyday it was a fun fair, and many a famous group performed there. if you listen to the lyrics, it mentions Spanish City, Whitley bay and Cullercoats, the next town up from here, where David scattered his fathers ashes across the rocks

We love our town!!
