| How Do You Know You've Found 'The One?'

I've read alot of blogs on here, where people are truly agonising over someone they are in love with...how do I know they love me back...will he/she ever notice me...why and how do they make me feel so bad...why are we never just happy...etc...
I have come to my own conclusions, based purely on my own experience.
David isn't the first person I've been in love with. I was head over heels in love with my first and my second boyfriend. And I loved my husband in a non-passionate kinda way. But David is the first person I have felt this connection with, like we aren't two people, but two halves of one person.
So this is my conclusion. When you have found the one, none of these questions come to you anymore. The one will never make you feel bad (intentionally) because they will know the things that hurt you and just not do them. And if they accidentally do, they will willingly go out of their way to make it up to you.
You will know they love you, because you will feel it, 24/7, 365 days a year, even in tough times.
You will always be happy...because whatever life throws at you, you will know that person loves you and you can lean on them and that in itself is support enough to see you through anything.
The one is there for you through thick and thin, knows when to be right by your side and when you want your space, knows when you need to hear the words 'I love you' and will never let you down.
You will meet so many people who you think are the one, and you will probably be wrong more than a few times. But when you find your soulmate...you'll just know it.
I'm so lucky I have mine, and realise I rave about him alot and probably bore everyone stupid, but hey...that's what this blog is about. And when you STOP ranting and raving about how wonderful your soulmate is...then you've stopped loving the same.
I love him and he loves me, and I know that because we tell each other and show each other every single day.
And that won't ever change.
If anyone else has any theories, or thoughts on soulmates, I'd love to hear them. Personally I think you love lots of people in your life, but you only get one soulmate. Most people aren't fortunate enough to find theres...those that do, me included...can't help but rave about them.

You give me faith in the whole soulmates theory. Every time I read your blog, I am so happy for you and David. I wish we could all be that happy.
