Okay, so I was feeling a bit down earlier, after sitting thinking about my dad and all. So I did what I usually do...went on MSN to see if anyone was online for a chat. And David was on there.
So he says, lets put the webcams on for a bit, I wanna show you something. And guess what it was? Train tickets!!!
He's coming down next Wednesday until the following Thursday, just to spend a bit of time with me. Bless him, it's just what I needed.
He said he wasn't gonna tell me, was just gonna surprise me, but he didn't wanna give me a heart attack! Me and his friend Kealey had a good laugh about it after, because ironically he's just managed to nick my idea! I was planning to go to Newcastle for Valentines Day - not tell him, just arrive at his door and say...'oh, I was just passing...' (even though we live 260 miles apart!) and she said he'd love that. Have decided I'm going to go anyway, and I'm still not gonna tell him.
All my family are really looking forward to meeting this man who makes me so happy, and I just know it's gonna be wonderful, all i need to do is try to avoid him bumping into hubby, simply because David is livid with him following the events of the other night and I don't want him to get into any trouble on my account.
Absolutely cannot wait to see him, I am in serious need of a cuddle.
Wow, things are really looking up!
Am a very, VERY happy bunny right now.

Thank you. I realise this high probably won't last forever, sooner or later things are gonna be tough, but for now, I'm just happy to enjoy the here and now. If I've learnt anything from all that's happened it's this: 'The past is gone, the future does not exist...live for today.'
