Bullying
Why do you think people bully other people?

Survey Answers
People bully to beat others down so the bully can feel better.
But, bullies only beat people down who the bully knows they can
get away with. A bully doesn't go after the beautiful girl at
school, or the school jock. The bully befriends those people,
because befriending the "top" people make the bully
feel like they have a better standing in whatever community the
bully is in.

Because the bully actually recognizes the superiority in the
person that they are bullying; therefore, their intent on tearing
down that person is for the sole purpose and intent of attempting
to build themselves up from the wretched reality that they really
are.

They mirror exactly what they are afraid of. They lack
confidence,so they tear someone else down.

It's because we are all still animals, and therefore it is the
survival of the fittest. Unfortunately this leads to elevated
levels of violence that many times end up with those who have
been bullied taking extreme measures to retaliate! Such as
Virginia Tech.

Cas33 and StillKickin, I think you two have got it right. It's
kind of sad, though, because often the bully is mistaken about
his or her feelings of inferiority, and should have every reason
to feel confident.
