You need to talk to the prescribing physician...you can have side
effects if you stop cold turkey..you usually have to be weaned
off..Do yourself a favor talk to your Dr.

Well I think you should figure out a way to work on your
lonliness. In this world full of people its amazing how alone we
are. The saying goes: we come into the world along....we leave
alone....but we are most alone when we are alive. There are many
times when people get perscriptions to help with their depression
when really there are other ways to deal with it. I would prob.
talk to your physician and seek out some professional therapy to
talk about things...find some good friends that'll be there for
you and support you. Good Luck!

well to be honest...anti-depressants, alcohol, painkillers,
sleepingpills, like toxins etc. can kill ya, can be very
dangerious like a virus. I would rather go for pure green organic
diet: passionflower and or valerian tablets along with cool
decaffeinated organic greentea.

Change your viewpoint, look outward instead of inward. When you
help others you feel better.

Easier said than done, people...well, except those who said to
ween off:P I just quit cold turkey one day. I got mad at the
side effects and risk level. Threw the stuff out. Just gotta
know when to fight it and go at it head first. No different than
quitting any other less than addictive habit. But, if you take
them TOO long, you could be addicted. I dont think they do
anything for lonliness depression other than mess with your head.

First it's not loneliness that is depressing you. You can be
lonely in the middle of a crowd of people. There are millions,
yes millions of meds you can take to help with your depression,
but you cannot sit back and rely on them to magically fix your
problem. Just like someone who wants to quit smoking, a pill
might help them to aquire their goal, but you must make a
concerted and consious effort to make yourself not be so
depressed! I speak from over many decades of suffering
depression, and when it comes right down to it. It was my
personal desire to stop being depressed that has made the biggest
change for me. Pills have helped me at times, but it was me that
provided me with the best happiness I have found.
