Hello everyone, my name is Shane Caudill and I am currently doing an event called "Relay for life." Its an organization that honors those men/women who have survived cancer and those who have passed on from it. Let me explain to you what "Relay for life" is.
Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event that celebrates survivorship and raises money for research and programs of your American Cancer Society. Relay participants are able to celebrate those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and empower individuals and communities to fight back against a disease that takes so much.
The American Cancer Society is the nathionwide, community-based, voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.
I know many of you, know someone who has battled cancer, who has it, or who has passed on because of it. Its a disease that effects everyone. I am doing this event, for my grandmother who passed on from lung cancer last year, my cousin who is fighting breast cancer, and all of the others fighting against this disease. The whole perpose for this event is to try and raise money for research, and to help those in need, which I think is a beautiful thing. Through out the night my teamates and I will take turns walking the track. After all, cancer never sleeps and neither will we. Will you helpt in the fight against cancer by making a contribution to the American Cancer Society through Relay For Life?
You don't have to donate a large sum, $5.00 even less will do. If you write a check, money order write it out to American Cancer Society. We even accept cash, and I'll write you a reciept. The dead line for this even is June 20th. If you are intrested in helping, please let me know and I'll send you an address through e-mail.
Thankyou for supporting,
Shane Caudill
