| Another day in the ho-hum state of Kansas! |

Hmmm... lets see here, Friday Feb 1st went to work and decided I was going to talk to my manager about switching my days off. I work the weekend, and well Ray's son Nathan had a wrestling tournament Feb 2nd, so being condiserate I went to my manager and asked him if I could take Sat. off and work Monday ( monday being my normal day off) well he asked me why, and I told him. He had the nerve to come back and say to me "if I gave you a day off for a family event, I'd have to do it for everyone." Ok.... well that sort of rubbed me the wrong way, I thought to myself ' Hmmm if someone wanted the day off for church you'd give it to them, so whats the damn difference." Thats when I decided I was going to call in and go for Nathan, I mean this is something Nathan loves doing and I love watching him, so I had to go support my lil boy!
We went to the tournament, and well Nathan wrestled some pretty tough matches and came home with 3rd. Ray and I were so proud of him, he went against some tough kids, me myself would have thought twice about getting in the ring with them, but our lil man faced them with courage and walked out a proud young man. I felt that Nathan and I kind of started to bond after that night. He started coming to me to ask me for help on homework, giving me hugs before he goes to bed, its little things but to me they mean everything. It really gives you a sense of completion and happiness, and I love it.
Well Sunday comes along, and I get up get ready for work, go in and realize I had been fired. What kind of shit is this, I thought to myself, you have to be flippin kidding. Well it kind of dawned on me a little later they did me a favor. I was glad to be out of that hell hole, but then again I really need the money. Then to top that all off, we just moved to another house, when I say we just moved I mean like the Sunday I got fired was the day we finished moving, so that kind of sucks. I've been putting in apps, but not having much luck, but what do you expect from a small town.
As of today, nothing has changed, still un-employed but trying to make the most of it. Been really enjoying the time I've been getting to spend with Ray and the kids. So in a nut shell I've caught everyone up on everything thats happen in my life within the past week. Well I think I'm gonna stop for now, but I'll write again when I have more exciting news!
Love Ya'll
