feel better
Well, I do feel better since I blogged my frustrations out.  So today I'm just going to kind of introduce myself.  I am a registered medical assistant (RMA).  I'm new to the field. I just graduated in may for medical assisting.  I got a great job right away.  Then was diagnosed with idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP)  which is a platelet disorder.  I spent most of the summer in hospital(almost 2 months).  The gist of it all comes down to I had a hemorhagic stroke due to the platelets going so low. and I had my spleen out a month ago.  So now the ITP is in remission.  But I lost my job because the dr had to have somone there to help take care of his patients.  So I had to move in with my sister and am now looking for a new position.  But it's dificult when prospective employers see that I worked such a brief time for my previous employer.  I'm sure that I'll get something soon though.  I spend most of the mornings online looking for work.  some one is bound to call.
I moved to arizona from Ohio about  6yrs ago.  I'm planning on going back to OH next yr since I'm not happy living in a dessert. I almost died several times this past summer and came to realise that I don't want to die here now or in 60 yrs.  so I'm going home when I can save up enough money to drive back.
I have a dog and 2 cats.
I have lost almost a hundred pounds in the last year.  Sad thing is that I still have about that much to lose.  :0( but I can do it    ;0)I'll never be skinny but I'd be happy with 150lbs.  What makes things dificult is that I'm still dealing with the after effects of the stroke.  My left side is very week and my fingers sometimes don't do what I tell them. But things could've been MUCH worse.

anyway enough about me for now.
