| Shake your Booty if you got one! |
I don't know where to start this rant, my mind is going in so many places at once. What touched this off was a news blurp on AOL about Glamor Magazine's new issue featuring semi naked Plus Size Models,and how good they look! Duh!
It has only taken the fashion industry 50 yrs. to find out what any American, red blooded,straight male in this country found attractive! Please check out this link which shows what they call "Plus Size Models" and come back here.

Are you kidding me? These are Plus Sizes?
Since the '50's and the '60's the fashion industry was left to gay designers, sadly mostly males, who thought every model should look like 14 yr. old boy. I guess it's easier to design fashions in straight lines, then something with a few seductive curves.
We males scoffed at this but did nothing at the time. Meanwhile women who so wanted to be up with the trends, applauded this garbage,and the result was Twiggy and Barbie.
Take no offence those blessed with being naturally thin. There is nothing wrong with that. Every man has different tastes in women, and you look sooo good to those that like slim.
But what guy would prefer driving all day on the Interstate Hwy. thru the midwest and seeing nothing rather than enjoying a lush winding country road with someting new to see around the next curve? Not many. Curves is what's it all about!
One last thing; how many women are really a true plus size because there was no way they were going to be a Barbie and gave up?They gave up exercise and sensible eating and said " I don't care!" when they really do.
There should be no standard. Especially one that is leading teens to harming their health that they will pay for later in life,after they've matured.
Damn it! Fashion industry and models(?) wake up!! This is sick!
Be yourself ! Be happy! Eat right! Exercise!
And for GOD'S sake- throw out those dumb Barbies!
P.S. Anyone looking to be an entrepreneur, just design a doll that resembles a normal, healthy young lady that G.I. Joe would love to come home to and wrap his arms around. Ken was gay!
