 Introduction
This really is a great way to share your thoughts! My blog is for anyone who likes to shop, learn about new things, or help others. I have a lot of ideas constantly running through my mind and I am hoping that thoughts.com is the perfect place to share them. So here I go... 1. I have a new site www.bykaramia.com full of my many different designs. There is a wide variety of unique things all made by my hands and imagination. From handmade kids clothing, to womens accessories or photography & art. Many are one-of-a-kind pieces. When you check out my links you'll be able to learn more about me and my artistic friends. If you find that your looking for a photographer, just click on my photography link to view my portfolio. 2. I have seen some great documentaries that deserve to be checked out by the masses. (Tell your friends!) Hacking Democracy is a cautionary documentary exposes the vulnerability of computers - which count approximately 80% of America's votes in county. A Crude Awakening-the oil crash, produced and directed by award-winning European journalists and filmmakers Basil Gelpke and Ray McCormack, tells the story of how our civilization’s addiction to oil puts it on a collision course with geology. 3. Now for the Givers... Recently I came across some information on a pod from Current TV that started a ripple affect on exploring different ways to make a difference in the world. It's so easy to go out with friends and spend $40 on dinner and a drink. Here are some other alternatives to spending that money while helping others in need. *A one time $30 donation to www.jewishworldwatch.org buys two solar cookers, two pots & pot holders, a year supply of plastic bags and training for the refugee women in Darfur. *A $27 a month donation to www.womenforwomen.org provides sponsorship of women in war torn countries where they are put into classroom environments and learn to read, write and gain common knowledge about their bodies, themselves, ect. *If you love animals this site is for you, www.worldwildlife.org. If you have $25 burning a whole in your pocket check out the endangered animals and adopt a Tiger or Polar bear for you and a friend. Unfortunatly there are a lot of different animals to choose from who need our help! If they could talk, I know they'd be thankful to you. Until next time....Kara-mia _________________________________________________________________
