 Aspergers and naivety.
As a child my son was very naive. It meant that children could take advantage, ususlly with his possessions.
He lost expensive playstation games, toys, all swapped for a non equivalent value item.
Kids would swap him trial taster excerpts of the new games DVDs for a £40 game.
At 22 years he is still the same.
When he was away for a year living at his girlfriends, he lost everything. His clothing, his playstation 3 that I paid £450 for when it first came out, all of his DVD collection, TV, stereo, mp3, important paperwork for the DSS benefits, passport, birth certificate. A book collection, childhood personal possessions. These things were not lost to his girlfriend, they were stolen by the neighbours who
"looked after" him and his benefit in their account for the two months he was between coming home and being thrown out of his ex girlfriends.
When he was young he would never get the right change in a shop. His childhood and teen friends have always ripped him off.

My brother has Asperger syndrome and this happened to him a lot too. It makes me angry that we live in a society that takes advantage of people.
I read your blog about his paranoia too, my brother used to be. We got him through it though, just supporting him and trying to explain their behaviour to him as much as we could.
If you ever need to talk about stuff to do with Asperger's syndrome your more than welcome to send me a message. I found it helped to share experiences with people. Families tend to be forgotten and not given the support they need.
