HI I am so sorry to hear you are unhapy with your religion... my best friend is a jehovahs witness and i have looked into the truth too. I think your husband has over reacted due to disappointment that you no longer want te same things as he does.. Have you been to the elders of the kingdom hall you are at... I know it is differcult to go to someone else with problems but when i needed help with my boyfriend even though I was not a member of the kingdom hall they were very good to me... I have no idea how you must be feeling and all i can do is sympathise things are never easy when there are problems in the house... if you cannot go to the elders then find someone outside to talk too... as I think thats what you need to do... and as for work I am in exactly the same situation and I have had to move back in with my parents... i hope everything turns out okay for you and even though you have lost faith in god at the mo I truely believe he is up there even though I dont want jehovahs witness faith I do pray and he does answer. I don't know anything about Christian religions, especially that particular sect, but don't you have a bishop or an elder in the church you could talk to? Every State has different laws but in California, you could file for separation and child support. With 2 children and yourself you would get $750 cash aid plus $273 in food stamps. You mentioned that you were interested in hospice volunteering. In California taking care of an elderly/handicapped personis paid for by the County, rates vary depending on the amount of care but it averages about $1000/month. My guess is that as soon as you leave he will be on his knees to get you back. Don't do it. He has shone you his true face.

WOW, I hardly think the way you are being treated is what Christ would want from his children. You know in your heart what you must do, to protect yourself and your children. Jesus Christ was not exclusionary, he welcomed all. It sounds to me like your husband has slipped over the edge.

I will also keep you and your husband in my prayers, but not letting you eat is a form of abuse as is verbal rants. If it gets to bad go to the local police and find a womens abuse shelter, almost every town of any size has them, your husband won't be able to find you until you want to be found. Take the kids with you. Also you can seek out counciling next Monday by searching for Free Counciling on any search engine. Remember to add your city name so they all come up local. JW's are a cult and he will figure that out sooner or later. Find a church that teach's God's Word and they will also help you and your children.
