Thanks for your kind words. What has troubled me the most and leaves me deeply upset is the fact that I've been paying home insurance for 10+ years and when something finally does happen, I'm left with the simple response: that's not covered. What *IS* covered by home insurance??? (BTW: I do have a special binder on my home insurance plan that I pay extra to cover flood damages/sewer backup/water damages as well but it turns out they cover superficial damages which are not very expensive e.g. they'll cover drywall damage but not framing damage, etc.)
