I agree with Luci...I believe you were sent an Angel...things will continue to look up kiddo. In all the adversity you've been going through, add up all the great things that have been coming your way:)

I agree there are no coincidences in life. So many times when the answer comes we say "no thank you". I also got chills reading this post. Your post reminded me of the following story ...
One day a man who was caught by a flooding river:
When the water reached his front porch, he prayed that God would rescue him. Shortly thereafter, a man in a canoe came by. "No thanks," says the man, "God will deliver me." And he continues to pray for deliverance.
When the water reaches his windows, the fire department comes by in a power boat. "No thanks," says the man, "God will deliver me." And he continues praying.
When the water reaches the roof, a rescue chopper flies over head and lowers a harness. "No thanks," yells the man, "God will rescue me!" And he continues praying.
Eventually the water covers the home and the man drowns. When he is standing in front of the pearly gates, he is rather irate. "Why didn’t you rescue me, God?" he asks.
"I sent you a canoe, a power boat, and a helicopter!" God answers incredulously. "What more did you want?" |

She's doing what any of us would do given the opportunity-so pretend she is one of us and "take the deal".

I agree with all of the above: everything happens for a reason. You were meant to meet that feisty, chain smoking, dear old lady. If not to take a room in her house, for some other reason. I would look into it - at least check the place out. What have you got to lose?

She is an angel sent to help you, take the offer, Bullseye! I can just imagine you sitting there listening to her amazing stories while she chainsmokes! Take the offer until the job offer materializes. Good luck!

There's a reason you crossed paths with this lady...but that's just my opinion.
