Where do words go
when they have been spoken?
Where does your breath go
when you have breathed?
Where does laughter go
after you have laughed?
Where do kisses go
when you have blown them?
where do smiles go
when you stop smiling?
Where does love go
when you stop loving?
maybe there is an invisable bottle
that catches all the lost kisses , smiles laughter and love.
Maybe an invisable sponge
to soak up all the lost breath and words.
I want to find the bottle and sponge.
I will squeeze the sponge
till every last kiss, smile laugh and love
drips on to a piece of paper.
I will fold the paper gently
place it in an envelope
seal it
and post it directly to you.
I will then take the lid off the bottle
And spend time to sort through the words
finding only the words of love and good
I will place them on a piece of paper
fold it gently
then place in an envelope
addressed only to you.
With the breath
i will place safely back in the bottle
save it
and if you should ever need more than your last breath
I shall have some for you.

Soaked and absorbed into the eternity of memory.
My dear Lord, you make me think deep Diane.
For months now, we have spoken to each other in poetry and prose.
Isn't that amazing?
It is to me.
