My Favorite Urban Legend
This story has been passed on too many times that noone could really determine when and where it happened but everytime it's told to someone, no matter how many times they've heard of it, it still give them the creeps.
There's this couple that's been together for 5 years. They've been trying to have a baby for the longest time but unfortunately, all they get is frustrations. But still they didn't lose hope, they tried so hard, went to all specialist they can afford and bought all fertility idols they would hear about. Until one day, the good news came. Finally, the wife got pregnant. The couple was so happy that even during the first month, they've bought all baby stuff they could find. They started hoping for a perfect baby. At night before they go to sleep, they would pray that they'll have a pretty girl, with curly hair and soft skin. A child they could show to everybody. A child they can be proud of.
Months came and finally, the wife is now ready to give birth. The father patiently waited outside the delivery room. Until the doctor approached and announced that they have a baby birl. The father was ecstatic, he hurriedly went inside to see his wife and his daughter. He was surprised with what he saw. His exhausted wife looks sad and disappointed. That's when he saw a child he didn't recognize. No curly hair, no soft skin. This is not a child they were askin for. After the long wait, all they get is this ugly child. The couple had a little talk, although disappointed, they accepted the fact that they are going to raise this child just like what responsible parents do.
5 years have passed and the child grew up to be very hyper that she would easily break the things around the house. The couple feels embarrased to be identified as the parents of their child that they would barely go outside and be seen with her. She's not like the other children that are friendly and constantly get compliments.
One day, the family got an invitation to a birthday party of their neighbor's 5 year old kid. The couple had no choice but to bring their child with them. At the party, their daughter was just her usual rowdy self, knocking things down and break them and makes fight with other kids. They feel so embarrased again. After lunch, the kid went to her mother and told her she needs to go to the bathroom. The mother accompanied the kid to the bathroom but found out that there's only one bathroom in that place and there's a long line so she decided to go to the backyard and saw a cliff where the kid can pee. Although the child was a little scared, she agreed to do her thing along the cliff. While the child was moving towards the cliff, the mother ...with no warning...suddenly pushed the kid.
The child fell off the cliff and died immediately. Investigators couldn't find any evidence against the mother and declared it as an accident.
After a year, the couple had another child. This time, she had all they could wish for for a daughter. Curly brown hair, soft fair skin, blue eyes and while she was growing up, she's become the favorite of the entire neighborhood.
One afternoon, the couple received an invitation to a kiddie party of one of her daughter's friend. they were all excited to go. As they arrived at the venue, their daughter asked her mom to accompany her to the bathroom. When they saw that there's was a long line, the mother suggested that they go the backyard. While they were on the backdoor, the child suddenly stopped and looked at her mom...with teary eyes, she whispered to her mom... "Mommy, please don't push me again."
