I long to wake in the morning
And see you sitting there
In the chair where you were watching
As I dreamed you near
I long for you to kiss me awake
And ask me why I was smiling
And whisper "I heard you calling"
As you kiss my lips
I long for your nights to be sleepless
Because you need me near
And without me beside you
You have too many fears
I long for you to travel
All this way to my side
Because without me in your arms
You feel like you might die
I long to see you looking at me
With so much desire in your eyes
For you know finally you have found it
And unconditional, never ending love
I long for us both to wander
Hand in hand in this world
