What day are we on? I'm not sure. Let's just write this as a continuation of the vacation saga. It's Thursday afternoon, and I'm so ready to head home. My bed, house, and 4 legged critters are missing me. And calling my name. Not to mention J as well.
Tuesday I woke up sooo sick. Unable to breathe, congested, sore throat. The whole works! Yuck! I ran some errands with my mom and grandmother and lazed around the condo mostly. We did go to a Pub for a late lunch/dinner that sits on a main waterway and were able to look out on the water while eating. There's always something very calming about water, or so I think. I wasn't able to eat much of my dinner as I was still not feeling well. I brought most of it home.
Wednesday we went to this local clothing store, as on Wednesday's all clothes are half off. Wow did I have a field day! I was able to pick up some great bargains and some things for J as well! I hope he will be pleased! I went to the pool on Wednesday and ended up falling asleep for a bit. Thank goodness it was a bit cloudy out so I didn't get burned to a crisp! After the pool we quickly changed clothes and headed over to the beach to catch the sunset. Wow was it absolutely gorgeous! My uncle had mentioned that there was a restaurant on the beach, that you were able to eat dinner on the beach and watch the sunset. How amazing would that be? Well my grandmother called him, while my mom and I were at the pool and he denied ever mentioning such a thing. He then went off to say it was his and his wife's anniversary today. He was angry that we didn't send a card. Let me write a bit of background information. My uncle has blatantly stated that he doesn't believe in cards. I have NEVER, not once in my entire lifetime received a card from him for my birthday. Nor a phone call. Yet he dares to mention something now. He then said that he was upset that we've not come over to his house. Why should we be expected to drive over there? He lives a mile away from my grandmother, and can't drive over here? We drove 1000 miles down here; I don't think a mile will kill him. So now apparently, we're in the doghouse because we didn't wish him a Happy Anniversary. Oh well, I'm pretty sure the world won't end. Below is a picture! ( I remembered to include it this time :).

Today, (Thursday), I'm still not feeling well at all. I slept in till about 11 this morning and unable to breathe once again. We are headed to my uncle's house tonight for dinner as he called this morning to invite us. I'm assuming that he's feeling guilty for not coming over and visiting us once, since Sunday. We are his own flesh and blood, yet his wife says jump and he says how high? What a great relationship. I hope dinner is more enjoyable than it was Sunday evening. One can only hope. Hope all is well with all of you. Thanks for listening while I vent. I needed somewhere to turn, and thanks for being there! :).
~Peace~
